Boston is often synonymous with rowdy sports and hostility but can you blame them? They’re just passionate folks looking to root their team on. Boston is also synonymous for being loads of fun.
Boston is the most massive city in New England and is the capital of Massachusetts State. Boston is one of the oldest cities in USA. It played a significant role during the American Revolution. Due to this fact one can find many historical sites in Boston. Boston gets an annual 16, 300, O00 visitors. Boston is colloquially called “The Walking City”, “Athens of America”, “The Cradle of lV|odern America”, “The Cradle of Liberty”, “The Hub (of the Universe)” and “Beantown”. Just across Charles River at Cambridge lies the famous universities of MIT and Harvard, a visit to these two universities would be well worth the time.

At Boston there are many things to do, one can go visit the Boston Harbor Island State Park or take a Ferry to Georges Island. Once on the island one can visit Fort Warren, a rather splendid place to visit on the island. There are many ranger led event on the island, such as fishing, camping, picnicking, swimming, narration and many other events. A good place to shop at Boston would be at Newbury Street. The oldest park in the US, the Boston Common and Public Garden is ideal for a visit during the summer. One can just walk along the shortest suspension bridge in the world or take a ride on the Swan Boats.

One can also try going on the Freedom Trail. This is a four kilometer tour walk which includes going through some 16 historic sites. Starting at Boston Common, through downtown Boston, to North End and Charlestown and finishing at the USS Constitution. Some of the places one would get to see include the Old North Church, Paul Revere’s House, Faneuil Hall and the old State House.
